Monthly Medal Rules

The Monthly Medal is a singles stroke play event played each first Sunday of the month during 2008.

Registration will be accepted by latest Noon Wednesday prior to the Monthly Medal date, by registering on-line or e-mailing:

You will receive your tee time by return e-mail by the Friday preceeding the game on Sunday.
Draw lists will also be available on this web site by each Saturdaypreceeding the Sunday game.

Every fully paid up LGC club member with a valid handicap may participate in these events.

Only Home club members can accumulate OOM points!

The Venue is fixed for the Monthly Medal - Secret Valley Golf Club.

The players will be paired and separated in 2 Divisions:

Division 1 = Scratch up to 24.4 hcp (Strokeplay)

Division 2 = 24.5 up to 36 hcp (Stableford)

The Club Captain or Vice Captain or his designated replacement for the event day, will decide Rules prior to commencement of play. The MM will be played off the Blue Tees with the Ladies playing from the Red Tees, all with full handicap allowance, under the new 2008 EGA Regulations.

The Monthly Medal is an event, in which you can accumulate points towards the LGC Order Of Merit.

Each player will receive 1 OOM point for taking part. Any no shows will be deducted 1 point.
